Korean The Face Shop to Enter the Indian Beauty Market

South Korean cosmetic & beauty brand, The Face Shop, which has dominated their native market for over 10 years now is set to take the Indian market by storm. The company already has successful operations in over 30 countries, including, Australia, Canada, China, USA, etc and will now be available in India.

Ms. Diane Lee, the company’s spokesperson expressed her joy of finally reaching their most wanted market for cosmetics from their global prospective by saying, “The Face Shop is thrilled to meet beautiful Indian ladies and surprise them with innovative products that are available in over thousand ranges.” TFS focuses mainly on natural products, and hence, India might be the right target for them given their predilection towards the natural products.

TFS aims to develop the K-Beauty segment in India by the means of various activities (both online and offline) like K-Beauty classes and creative adaptation into the Indian makeup culture. They plan on launching their products via e-commerce first, before finally expanding their market to offline stores sometime next year.

The Face Shop is expected to be launched sometime during October, 2016, on Amazon.
