9Apps a China-based Alibaba Group, is entering the Indian market and it is partnering with game publisher Gameloft to distribute its most popular games in India.
9Apps is a mobile application distribution platform, and a third-party Android applications and games shop. It allows Android users to download apps and games without logging in the app store. It was founded in December 2013. 9Apps covers users from around 100 countries. In April 2016, It had more than 26 million daily app/game downloads and more than 250 million monthly active users in 9Apps.
Gameloft on the other hand has 140 million monthly active users. They have created a number of games for mobile phone handsets, tablets, games consoles and other platforms. Gameloft’s mobile advertising network won the Best Use of Mobile Media in Advertising after recently starting its mobile advertising solutions to deliver better mobile gaming experience along with advertising content.
This Partnership will help Gameloft user to enjoy more games on 9apps platform like Danger Dash, Real Football 2016, Asphalt Nitro and many more. The two leaders of the gaming industry together can help to reach masses along with increasing accessibility of incredible gaming experience.
9Apps, earlier this year also partnered with Disney India to promote over 300 popular mobile games from its catalogue. Disney for the first time had partnered with a third-party app market in India to promote some of its most popular games world-wide. 9Apps showcased games like Inside Out Thought Bubbles, Mickey Cup, Minnie Cake Factory, Where’s My Water?, Lion King, Cricket World Cup Fever many more.
